You've entered the Sunken Garden, a placid retreat at the southeast corner of this Italianate campus and the setting for Guitar in the Garden, a serene and intimate listening experience offered each summer at Caramoor.

The Jasper String Quartet performs pieces that are emotionally significant to its members ranging from Haydn and Beethoven through Berg, Ligeti, and living composers. They have commissioned string quartets from some of today’s best up-and-coming composers, including Andrew Norman, Nicholas Omiccioli, Conrad Tao, Annie Gosfield, and their latest artistic partner, Aaron Jay Kernis.

"I'm with Her Tour"

All mainstays of the acoustic, folk and roots music world, Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz and Aoife O’Donovan crossed paths many times throughout their careers. So it comes as no surprise that, after an impromptu performance at the 2014 Telluride Bluegrass Festival, all the pieces fell into place for these three acclaimed musicians to collaborate. Watkins, Jarosz and O’Donovan’s first performance will be at 2015’s Celtic Connections Festival in Scotland, an event at which they have each performed individually.
